Terms of Service

Effective: 2026-10-21 · Counter access options updated: 2026-10-22

These terms govern use of TreatHop at treathop.com and app.treathop.com, operated by ParagonID LLC, 8080 Westpark Drive STE 82205, Houston, TX 77063 (United States). “We” means that operator. Contact: support@treathop.com. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information.

TreatHop and your cafe

TreatHop supplies digital loyalty cards, stamp and reward records, counter access and supported Wallet connections. Each cafe independently sets and runs its program, decides which purchases qualify and supplies the rewards. TreatHop does not sell the cafe's products or promise to fulfill its rewards.

For missing stamps, a purchase dispute, program rules or a reward, contact the cafe. For sign-in, scanning, Wallet, access or a technical problem, contact TreatHop support. We aim to respond within one business day; this is a service target, not guaranteed response or resolution time.

Cafe owners

You must be at least 18 and authorized to act for the cafe. Provide accurate program information, keep your owner account secure and revoke access for counters you no longer control. You are responsible for actions by your authorized staff and for clearly explaining and honoring your program's terms, subject to applicable law.

One stamp represents one qualifying purchase under the displayed rules. The owner can correct a particular mistaken operation with a reason; the correction is recorded. Do not issue fraudulent stamps, misuse customer information or bypass safeguards. Display only designs and content you have rights to use. You give TreatHop permission to host and display that content as needed to operate your program.

If customers choose cafe offers, use that choice only for the stated cafe and respect withdrawal. An optional recovery email alone is not marketing consent. Do not publish private customer information in ideas, artwork or support messages.

Customers

A customer account or email is not required to receive a card. Keep access through your browser or a supported Wallet. You may add and confirm an optional recovery email. Without it, losing browser access can mean losing access to the web card.

Anyone presenting a valid card QR can use the card without identity checks. Keep it private. Contact the cafe if it is lost or copied; the owner can block or reissue it. Stamps and rewards are loyalty records, not money, a bank balance or a payment authorization. Redemption is subject to the cafe's displayed program rules and applicable law.

Free service and availability

The Free plan currently includes one location, one program, up to 250 saved cards and up to three counter devices. Reaching the card limit pauses new registrations; existing cards continue to work. TreatHop may increase the limit. For each counter invitation, the owner chooses seven days or access until revoked. Seven-day access requires a new owner invitation and confirmation on the counter to renew. Access until revoked has no scheduled expiry; the owner may disconnect the counter at any time. Clearing browser data or browser storage limits can require reconnecting.

Features marked as planned or coming soon are not included in the current service. Future paid features require a separate offer and affirmative acceptance; these terms do not authorize a payment. Wallet availability depends on your device, provider, program configuration and the providers' requirements. We may change the service with reasonable notice where practical and as required by law.

An internet connection is required to record stamps and rewards. Do not assume an operation succeeded until the app confirms it. We work to keep the service available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may restrict access to protect customers or investigate abuse and will explain or provide a way to contact us where practical.

Community ideas

Suggestions are reviewed before publication. Do not post abusive, illegal, personal or customer information. You can report an idea or author, hide an author in your own feed, and contact TreatHop support. Moderators may publish or hide content. Hiding content does not cancel votes or affect a cafe’s cards or access.

Closing a program and deletion

Closing a program stops new enrollment and stamp earning while allowing already earned rewards to be redeemed. It does not erase the cafe's obligations to customers.

Deleting a customer card is different: after the customer confirms, its stamps and unclaimed rewards are lost and the card cannot be recovered. Other cafe cards remain. A saved Wallet pass may need to be removed from the device manually.

A cafe account can be deleted through support after the owner's confirmation. Deletion removes the program and all customer cards, stamps and rewards, disconnects counters and removes owner access. The cafe must address outstanding customer obligations before requesting deletion; deletion does not cancel obligations imposed by law or agreements with its customers. Our Privacy Policy explains data-removal timing and limited retention.

Acceptable use and rights

Do not attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the service, copy someone else's credentials, upload unlawful content or misuse support. You retain rights to your content. TreatHop and its branding remain the property of their respective owners. Apple, Google and other third-party brands belong to their owners; using a supported integration does not imply endorsement.

Responsibility and disputes

To the extent permitted by applicable law, TreatHop is provided as available without additional warranties. We are not responsible for a cafe's failure to supply goods or rewards or for third-party interruptions outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer rights. These terms do not require arbitration or waive access to a court.

Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a problem. Applicable mandatory law and court-jurisdiction rules remain in effect. If part of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.

Updates

We will publish updated terms with an effective date and provide notice of material changes where appropriate. If a change requires renewed acceptance, we will ask for it. Contact support@treathop.com with questions.
